The main characteristics of TPU polyurethane resin TPU are:

Wide range of hardness: By changing the ratio of each reaction component of TPU, products with different

hardness can be obtained, and as the hardness increases, the product still maintains good elasticity.

High mechanical strength: TPU products have outstanding load-bearing capacity, impact resistance and

shock absorption properties. Wear resistance Wear resistance is one of the hard indicators to test the

durability of plastic products. General plastic products are often subjected to friction, grinding and other

mechanical effects, which will cause surface loss. TPU FILM has excellent wear resistance and is more than

fifty times more wear-resistant than natural rubber. It is one of the materials chosen for wear-resistant

products.

Outstanding cold resistance: TPU has a relatively low glass transition temperature and still maintains good

elasticity, flexibility and other physical properties at minus 35 degrees. Anti-oxidation: General plastic

materials are prone to oxidation when exposed to high temperatures (such as above 60°C) for a long time.

TPU has good oxidation resistance, and generally speaking, its high temperature resistance is above 90-120℃.

Good processing performance: TPU can be processed using common thermoplastic material processing

methods, such as injection, extrusion, calendering, etc. At the same time, TPU and certain polymer materials

can be processed together to obtain polymer alloys with complementary properties. Oil, water and mold resistant.

PVC

PVC plastic, chemical name: polyvinyl chloride

English name:Poly(Vinyl Chloride)

Specific gravity: 1.38g/cubic centimeter Molding shrinkage: 0.6-1.5% Molding temperature: 160-190℃

Features: Excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties, strong acid and alkali resistance, good

chemical stability, but low softening point. Suitable for making thin plates, wire and cable insulation layers,

 seals, etc.

PVC material is a kind of plastic decorative material. PVC is the abbreviation of polyvinyl chloride material.

It is a material made of polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount

of anti-aging agents, modifiers, etc., through mixing, calendering, vacuum blister and other processes.

PVC materials are lightweight, heat-insulating, heat-insulating, moisture-proof, flame-retardant, and easy

to construct. It has various specifications, colors and patterns and is highly decorative. It can be used to

decorate interior walls and ceilings of living rooms. It is one of the most widely used decorative materials

among plastic materials. The advantages of PVC gussets mainly include the following aspects:

1. Light weight, heat insulation, moisture-proof, flame retardant, acid and alkali resistance, and corrosion

 resistance.

2. Good stability and dielectric properties, durability, anti-aging, easy to weld and bond.

3. Strong bending strength and impact toughness, and high elongation when broken.

4. It is easy to process and shape through processes such as kneading, mixing, drawing, pelletizing,

extrusion or die-casting, and can meet the needs of various profile specifications.

5. The surface is smooth, the color is bright, and it is highly decorative, and has a wide range of decorative

applications.

6. The construction technology is simple and the installation is relatively convenient.

Comparing the two, TPU's wear resistance and resistance to changes in high and low temperatures are

better than PVC, and its mechanical strength is also stronger.
